Spanish Water Dog

The Perro De Agua Español is a breed that requires good guidance. It is described as very easy and suitable for people with allergies. However, appearances can be deceptive, as it is also a very intelligent dog. In terms of temperament, the Perro can be reserved around people, sensitive to noise, and may even be discriminating. By this we mean that he will avoid people he doesn’t like, which is why we conduct a puppy temperament test to find the right people for each Perro puppy. This test takes place at around 7–7½ weeks. We also carry out the following tests: eyes of the puppies at 6½ weeks, eye tests for the parent dogs, HD (hips), prcd-PRA, DNA prcd-PRA, thyroid CHG-DNA, goniodysgenesis and NAD test. Health is very important to us, which is why we carry out so many tests. Good information, aftercare and guidance are also essential to us.
