After a year full of wagging tails, we finally have some news to bark about! Álvaro - Wilson el rizo fiel X Gonnagitcha's Nieve will bring a new chapter to Gonnagitcha's. We’re expecting puppies from this pairing in week 47 (November 2026)!

Sad news again. Our dear brown ‘solliebollie’ (Gonnagitcha's Solla) passed away at the far too young age of 1.5 years.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of our beloved Antoinette van Zwijndregt. Our thoughts are with her family, and we wish them strength during this difficult time. Her faithful companions Beethoven and Verdi will miss her too, but fortunately they are in good hands with her husband, Paul van Zwijndregt. Gonnagitcha's will now be continued by Vera and her husband, Paul Lomme.
"It was a “coincidencia” that we met a visitor with a Perro De Agua Español at a dog show in Oldenburg, Germany; but, to cut a long story short, as a result of this chance encounter, we have enjoyed the company of our own Perros since the spring of 1998. Our dogs live with us in our home and are part of our family. From time to time, we have a litter that grows up in a home environment." - Antoinette van Zwijndregt

This pairing came about through a wonderful collaboration with the Spanish breeder Guardián de los Sueños. The medical information for both parents is:

Since 2022, the Raad van Beheer has organised the 'Winner of Winners' show competition (WoW). The competition has two categories: one for individual dogs and one for breeders with a kennel name. At the end of the year, the dog with the most points in its breed earns the 'Winner of Winners' title. The same applies to the kennel name competition. For more information click here.
On March 1, everyone received their certificates with the results. Below are the wonderful results achieved by Gonnagitcha's!

The kennel name lives on! Little by little, Vera is taking over, but for now we’re still at the helm together. We clicked straight away, and Vera has been gaining experience with the Spanish Water Dog since 2014. We share the same approach: first, carry out health tests, then assess whether a good pairing can be made, with temperament and working drive being very important. Once a good match has produced puppies, it’s important to carefully select the right homes for them and, of course, stay in touch with their new, proud Gonnagitcha's perro owners.
